NAI Wisinski Facilitates FIKA’s Expansion: A Vegan, Gluten-Free Bakery and Restaurant Coming to Creston

We’re thrilled to share the story of FIKA, a brand-new plant-based, gluten-free brunch restaurant and market, bringing fresh energy and flavor to the Creston Neighborhood in Grand Rapids. FIKA is officially joining the Lofts on Grove building at 1359 Plainfield Ave NE, an area perfectly suited for its welcoming, community-focused mission. This exciting concept is a sister company to the beloved Rise Authentic Baking Co., located on the West Side of Grand Rapids. Scheduled to open in Spring 2025, FIKA will feature breakfast and lunch menus, curated market items, deli offerings, and coffee beverages courtesy of Squibb Coffee.

The journey to FIKA’s new home was an effort in collaboration and strategy. With the help of Todd Leinberger of NAI Wisinski of West Michigan and Zach Baker of First Companies, who represented the landlord, and Victoria Hansen of Hansen Properties Group, who represented the tenants, the deal was sealed for FIKA’s 3,095-square-foot lease. The location at The Lofts on Grove is the perfect blend of accessibility, visibility, and charm for a forward-thinking dining concept like FIKA.
