WORLD OF WINTER
World of Winter is the largest Winter Festival in the Midwest. The festival runs from January to March, so you will have plenty of time to check out over 150 FREE events, art installations and ice sculptures, and live music!
ICE SKATING AT ROSA PARKS CIRCLE
Ice skating is open all winter long at Rosa Parks Circle downtown Grand Rapids. They offer both walk-ups and reservations. For those not interested in ice skating, you can try your hand at curling!
TRY A NEW RESTAURANT DOWNTOWN
Grand Rapids has new and innovative restaurants popping up frequently like Scholar, a cozy library restaurant located right off Ionia Street that features American cuisine with old-time flavors. Try a burger the Nonla way, or visit a brand new restaurant, The Foolery, serving Detroit style pizza.
SPORTING EVENTS
The Grand Rapids Gold basketball team and the Grand Rapids Griffins hockey team have games running until late March, so be sure to stop into Van Andel Arena to cheer on the teams!
